Procedure

KSEB Ltd is allowing students attending various courses to undergo Industrial Training/Internship programme at various offices of KSEBL as per the recommendation of Heads of Institutions and on remitting the prescribed fees. Now the process of application and allotment has been fully automated through an Industrial Training Portal supported by a software application developed and maintained by IT wing.

The Chief Engineer - HRM is the sanctioning authority for imparting Project/Industrial training in KSEBL and the permission is given subject to the conditions indicated below.

1. Recommendation letter from the Head of the Institution is required.
2. Internship/Inplant training is given to various course including ITI/ VHSE/ Diploma/M.Tech/Graduate Engineering/B. Sc/MBA/Law students etc.
3. Maximum number of students permitted per batch varies with centers. *KSEB Ltd has the right to change these limits without prior notice*
4. Permission will be granted for a minimum of 5 working days.
5. Students can select preferred training period subject to availability
6. Student should remit the fee online as per the prevailing payment terms.
7. Fee rates may change time to time, prior notice will be given in case of any changes. All correspondance should be addressed to 'The Chief Engineer (HRM)', Vydyuthi Bhavan, Thiruvananthapuram.
8. Permission letter will be given by the Chief Engineer (HRM), Vydyuthi Bhavan, Thiruvananthapuram, on satisfactory compliance of all the above.
9. Schedule once allotted will not be changed other than due to unavoidable circumstances and will be considered within the period of sanction only.
10. No other facility of KSEB Ltd shall be available for use by the students permitted for training in KSEB Ltd.
11. The students will be solely responsible for their safety during the training and shall abide by all the instructions, rules and procedures in force.

ITI Student	5 working days	Rs.500/- + GST
VSHE Student	5 working days	Rs.500/- + GST
Research Work	1 year	Rs.3,000/- + GST
Project/Organizational Study	3 months	Rs.2,000/- + GST

•  Permission granted for Industrial training for a minimum of 5 and maximum of 15 days on pro -rata basis subject to the availability of the stations.
• The fee should be remitted online to the cash section, O/o the Chief Engineer (HRM), Vydyuthi Bhavan, Thiruvananthapuram.
• Allotment will be given based on the availability of dates & current permissibility at each station. Permission letter will be issued by the Executive Engineer, HRD Cell on behalf of Chief Engineer (HRM).
• The requested date for industrial training shall be within 45 days from the date of Application.
• Schedule once allotted will not be changed other than due to unavoidable circumstances and will be considered within the period of sanction only.
• No other facility of KSEBL shall be available for use by the students permitted for training in KSE Board.
• The students will be solely responsible for their safety during the training and shall abide by all the instructions, rules and procedures in force
