AMR SYSTEM

 In the present system Energy Meters installed at KSEBL side of 33 interstate feeders at 17 stations, are connected to station gateways using USB-RS485 adapters. Data acquisition software, polls every meters twice a second and resulting data is assembled into time stamped binary packets and sent to LD Server real-time though VPN. MDM server processes data and generate energy data, total drawal and O/U using schedule information from SRLDC site. Near real time processing of data from a 0.2 class meter results in accuracy much better than SCADA and follows SRLDC SEM reading within 1%.
