TMR Division Shornur located at Kulappully in Palakkad District is headed by the Executive Engineer under the administrative control of the Deputy Chief Engineer, Electrical Circle Shornur under the Distribution North region. There are 3 subdivisions and TMR stores under the TMR division Shornur namely Transformer Maintenance Subdivision, Meter testing Subdivision, and HT Meter Testing Subdivision and Store.

The meter testing lab at TMR Division Shornur is NABL accredited since 13.06.2019.
The transformer workshop has a fully equipped transformer routine testing facility and the repairing of various make and capacity of distribution transformers from 25 KVA to 500 KVA 11KV/433V,  22KV/433v Transformers are done in this workshop.
