Urumi Small Hydro Project Stage-II having an installed capacity of 2.4 MW (0.8 MW×3) is operated and controlled by Kerala State Electricity Board Ltd. Urumi SHEP stage-II is located at Urumi, a tributary if Poyilingapuzha river, which is a tributary of Iruvannjipuzha, which in turn is a tributary of Chaliyar in Thiruvambady Village, Kozhikode Taluk, Kozhikode district.
