KSEBL had erected an innovative floating solar plant of 500kWp in Banasura Sagar reservoir in Wayanad for Rs. 9.25 crore (including O&M of the plant for the first 5 years). The Floating Solar Photovoltaic Project envisages a maximum power export of 500kWp using Crystalline technology during normal operating conditions. The solar power is generated at 415V AC, 50Hz frequency level, then stepped up to 11 KV by 1250KVA, 11 KV/433V Transformer.

The contract for design and installation of the pilot the rid tied 500kWp FSPV was awarded to M/s.Adtech Systems Ltd. The project was commissioned on 31.03.2019. O&M period of the project is completed. AMC agreement executed with M/s. ADRTECH for 5 years and two years AMC period is completed.
