TMR Division Pallom located at Pallom near Kottayam is headed by the Executive Engineer under the administrative control of the Deputy Chief Engineer, Electrical Circle Kottayam under the Distribution South region has been functioning since 1963. There are two subdivisions and a Store functioning under this Division.

Meter Sub Division

Deals with HT/EHT consumer metering, Independent Power Plant (IPP)metering, and Special Energy Metering activities in Kottayam, Idukki, Alappuzha, and part of Pathanamthitta Districts. An indoor metering testing lab has been functioning and it gets accredited by NABL and follows IS/ISO/IEC 17025:2017 with effect from March 2021. Two numbers of meter testing outdoor units and a CTPT testing lab are also functioning

Transformer Sub Division
The main activities are repairing of distribution transformers of various capacities from 25KVA to 500KVA and carrying out acceptance tests of newly purchased transformers. A transformer testing lab is functioning since 2021 and also has a transformer oil filtering unit with a filtering capacity of 2000Ltrs per hour. The transformer workshop has a repairing capacity of 40 Nos per month.
