Pay your electricity bills using Consumer number as Account number

Payment facility - KSEBL

KSEBL has introduced a new payment system where low tension electricity consumers can pay their electricity bill using their 13-digit consumer number as a virtual account number. This system has been implemented in collaboration with M/s. South Indian Bank.

Customers can easily transfer money from their own account to virtual account through NEFT/RTGS system for payment of electricity bills. Electricity bills can also be paid through Net banking services by adding a new beneficiary or through quick transfer with the below account details. Electricity bill amount can also be transferred to the virtual account number by filling the form at the bank at which consumer holds the account.

The NEFT/RTGS clearing time specified by the Reserve Bank will be taken for the amount paid by the customer to be credited at the account of KSEBL. As soon as the money is credited to the KSEBL account, consumers will receive an SMS message on their registered mobile number. If the money is not credited for any reason, the said amount will be refuded to the customer's bank account within the specified period.
