Description of the service |
Shifting of meter/service line within the premises of the consumer after completion of the following pre-requisites:
- Complete the installation of the meter board with proper earthing at the location to where the meter is to be shifted.

- The applicant should be the legal owner/tenant/occupant of the property/building.

Fees applicable and payment options available |
- SINGLE PHASE: Application fees: Rs. 10/- plus GST; Labour charge: Rs. 300 plus GST; IF/TF: Rs. 25/- plus GST.
- THREE PHASE: Application fees: Rs. 10/- plus GST; Labour charge: Rs. 500 plus GST; CT meter (LT): Rs. 1,200/-; TOD Meter: Rs.1,800/- plus GST; IF/TF: Rs. 50/- plus GST.

Online application processing procedure and process flow |
- Create an account with KSEBL by registering in the KSEBL Web Self-Service Portal - wss.kseb.in.
- Apply for meter shifting by logging in and uploading the necessary documents.

Service timeline |
- Shifting of LT service line: Thirty days from the date of remittance of the demand
- Shifting of HT service line: Forty-five days from the date of remittance of the demand
- Shifting of transformer: Thirty days from the date of remittance of the demand
