KSEBL has been awarded by the Central Board of Irrigation and Power (CBIP) for the best management and operation of large dams in various states of India.

Dam Safety Chief Engineer Sri. S. Rajiv received the award for KSEBL from Union Water Resources Minister Uma Bharati at a function held at the SCOPE Convention Center in Delhi on December 29, 2015.
