KSEBL has received the Kerala State Energy Conservation Award - 2023 for its outstanding performance in the field of energy conservation. KSEBL has achieved this recognition in the category of high end consumers. Sri.G.Sajeev(Director-REES, KSEBL) and Sri.V.N.Prasad(Chief Engineer, REES,KSEBL) have received the award from  Sri.A.N Shamseer, Hon'ble Speaker Legislative Assembly Kerala  at the inaugural function of  International energy fair held at Tagore Theatre, Thiruvananthapuram.The award was given considering the projects implemented by KSEBL such as "Filament-free Kerala" - implemented to ensure energy conservation and energy efficiency, "Nilav"- street lamp project, “Save Energy for tomorrow”- the project to increase energy conservation awareness among the people, implementing EV-charging stations across Kerala to promote the use of electric vehicles, and installation of star rated transformers to reduce transmission and distribution energy losses in power lines,  re-conductoring and three phase convertion and other works.
